1/35 British Sherman VC Firefly w/Cast Cheek Turret

During WWII, the British recognized that the greatest weakness of the US-built M4 Sherman was its 75mm main gun, and sought to solve that problem by installing the powerful high-velocity 17-pounder gun in a slightly modified turret. This gun gave the Sherman Firefly the firepower it needed to take on the powerful German armor it would encounter in the field.

Tasca's second Sherman Firefly VC kit takes its first smashing release and adds the distinctive cheek-armored turret. As in the first release, Tasca's trademark fine molding and maniacal attention to detail shines in every part of this kit. Tracks are exquisitely molded as soft, flexible belts, making assembly a snap while not sacrificing detail at all. Includes photo-etched detail parts, a commander figure, and markings for four British vehicles. Packaged in a distinctive "cartoon box," with art by famous military cartoonist Yoh Morinaga.
