1/35 Panzer II Ausf.L Luchs w/Additional Armour

'Luchs' is the German word for 'lynx' and considering the wild cat's explosive nature, agility and ferocity, it's a great name for this fast reconnaissance tank. This kit is the first variation on the Luchs recon tank(BEG35001; see its description for basic info on the model), known for its high quality. This time Tasca has depicted the Luchs with extra armor, as equipped by 4th. Panzer Division. Based on the thorough study of the actual vehicles with some historical photos, several characteristic accessories like extra armor, smoke dischargers, ammunition containers, idler wheel rim parts and fuel can racks, are added. Details are extraordinarily fine; even interlocking joints of the wooden boxes are, amazingly enough, reproduced in scale! The box includes seven sets of decals for 4th. Pz.Div vehicles. Care is needed in assembly, as the instruction sheets come with two parts: one for the basic model, and the other for the special versions. Some construction process changes are given in the special instruction sheet alone. Please consult the instructions closely and confirm the process before you begin your work.
