Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.

Sweet's latest 1/144 kit is this P-51B. While the D model has been kitted before in this scale, we believe this is the first time anyone has done a B model. Surprising, since sales of other kits have shown the B to be the more popular choice of modelers! This kit features all the detail for which Sweet has become famous: basic cockpit detail, accurate landing gear with separate wheels, struts and doors, optional position radiator flap, two styles of exhaust, two styles of underwing drop tanks, and both standard and Malcolm Hood canopies. Decals are for six aircraft: Lt. Haydon Holton's "Rosey T" of the 353rd FS; Maj. Robert W. Stephans' "Killer" of the 355th FS; Lt. Col. James Howard's "Ding Hao" of the 356th FS; Capt. Don Gentile's "Shangri La" of the 336th FS (two versions); Maj. Duane W. Beeson's "The Bee" of the 334th FS; and "Sky Clipper," a presentation aircraft given by the workers of Packard Engines.
