The title is a little misleading; only a very little of this book is devoted to the animated art of Fushigi Yugi, the ever-popular manga written by Watase Yuu. The majority of the art in this soft-cover book is directly from the manga; some of it is character sketches for the animation. All if it is extremely beautiful, however, and fans of the series or of the artist will definitely want this book.
