Assembly Guide

Complete and accurate set of markings for the Ferrari F1-2000. Has all necessary markings to reproduce either vehicle from team. Studio 27`s usual high level of quality. Decals are perfectly registered with almost no excess film around edges. Very thin. Includes color guides and placement charts.

A complete set of "high-tech" decals for replacing the decals in the Tamiya MP4/7 kit. These decals have a flat finish when dry, as do the actual markings on Formula 1 cars.

How to use Studio 27's Hi-Tech decals:

These decals are recommended for moderate to experienced modelers as they are more difficult to work with than standard-type decals.

(1) Make sure the surface to which the decal is to be applied is free of fingerprints or other oils. The surface should be as smooth as possible.

(2) Cut out the decal to be applied using scissors or a hobby knife.

(3) Soak the decal in lukewarm water. Remove it from the water as soon as the decal can slide around on the backing.

(4) Carefully slide the decal off the backing paper and onto the surface to which it is to be applied.

(5) After positioning the decal, use a tissue or other soft cloth to push all air out from under the decals, beginning in the center and working your way out to the edges.

(6) Allow the decal to air dry for at least one day. Drying time is affected by the season.

(7) After the decal is thoroughly dried, use cellophane tape, etc., to remove the clear covering from the decal. Work slowly to avoid any of the coloring from the decal being pulled off with the clear covering.

(8) If any adhesive remains on the surface of the decal after removing the clear covering, use a slightly damped cloth or tissue to blot off any residue.
