A very nice all-new tooling of the Ki-60, the predecessor to the more famous Ki-61 Hien. In some ways the Ki-60 was superior to the Hien, but was a much "hotter" airplane and Japanese Army pilots and staff of the time thoroughly believed that large wings, lower wing loadings, and greater manueverability were all-important, so the Ki-60 never progressed beyond the test and trial stage. This kit features the exquisite surface detail RS Models is known for and features a fret of prepainted photo-etched parts from Eduard. Canopy is injected. Decals are for the first prototype and a fictional camoflaged machine of 47 Dokuritsu Chutai.
