Kimi Raikkonen won it all in the world of F1 in 2007, just edging out both Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso for the title of F1 World Champion by only a single point, decided in the season's final race. Not only that, with rival McLaren having all of its points stripped in the industrial espionage scandal, Ferrari won the constructor's championship, too.
Capture the drama and excitement of the 2007 F1 season with this great plastic injection kit from Revell of Germany! The kit features great detail inside and out, with accurately rendered aero parts and complete engine, suspension, and cockpit detail. Parts are molded in gray, with the body of course molded in Ferrari red! The big decal sheet provides all the carbon fiber textures for the suspension and other body parts, as well as options to build either Kimi Raikkonen's championship #6 car or teammate Felipe Massa's #5 car (Felipe finished fourth in the 2007 driver's championship). Decal options are provided for the 2007 USA, British, and Brazilian Grand Prix races. Conspicuously absent from the decal sheet are the big black and white sponsorship markings of a very famous tobacco company (starts with an "M," ends with an "o") on the car body sides and wing, or the big bar codes used in their place in countries that forbid the advertising of tobacco products. Check out HLJ's selection of aftermarket F1 decals for some appropriate markings! Aside from that one somewhat understandable omission (licensing is a killer!), this kit just about has it all, and is a great alternative to the fantastically detailed but astronomically priced multi-media F1 kits on the market.
