The C9 was the result of a venture between Mercedes-Benz and and car designer Peter Sauber, with 900hp engines being installed in the Sauber-designed bodies. Capable of nearly 400kph (close to 250mph), the C9 competed in a number of 1987 races as the fastest car, and recorded the fastest lap at Le Mans that year.
Revell's kit of the C9 features authentic detailing inside and out, including a multi-part rear wing with "filigree" supports. Decals are included to model the two "sports car races" and the Le Mans race (1987 season). Measures 19.9cm when complete.
