Here's what Revell has to say about the T-72: The Soviet T-72 counts as one of the most important Soviet battle tanks and was distributed to customers world-wide. It stood out due to its innovations, reliability and above all its powerful weapons system. The T-72B that appeared in 1985 was further developed by stronger and more effective turret armour. In addition the T-72B now had the capability of firing type "9K120 Svir" guided missiles. Later it was also fitted with additional protection in the form of so-called EDZ (explosive reactive armour) units. These explosive charges could reduce or totally prevent the penetration of warheads.

Revell's T-72B kit features a rotating turret, accurate tracks with injection molded link-and-length segments, hatches that can be optionally positioned open or closed, a smoke grenade discharge system, separate fuel tanks on the rear, and individual EDZ units. Includes one figure.
