1/144 P-47D Thunderbolt

A set of two remarkably well-detailed 1/144 P-47Ds. The kits feature recessed panel lines, separate seats and instrument panels for the cockpits, detailed engines and landing gear, and a surprising number of options: centerline flat-style drop tanks; separate underwing pylons and bombs; bazooka-tube rocket launchers; separate rudder fillet; Hamilton-Standard propeller as well as both symmetrical and asymmetrical Curtis Electric paddle-blade propellers. Decals for three aircraft are given: Maj. Glenn Eagleston's D-25 "FT L" of the 353rd FS; Lt. Col. Benjamin Mayo's checkerboarded D-25 "WZ P" of the 84th FS; and Col. Hubert "Hub" Zemke's M-1 "UN Z" "Zemke's Wolfpack/56th Fighter Group."
