The P-51D was in service all the way through the Korean war and was finally withdrawn in 1957. This 1/144-scale model of the P-51D is quite well detailed, even though it is relatively small. Two models are included so you can make two different variations or two of the same; decals are included and a guide for accurate placement is shown on the bottom of the box. The detail on the parts is shallow, so when painting be sure to use a thinner paint that won't cover the details.
