Seeing service in both WWI and WWII, the British battlecruiser Renown and its sister ship, the HMS Repulse, were the world's largest capital ships upon their completion, up until the battleship HMS Hood was built. Although the Repulse was sunk by Japanese aircraft at the outbreak of WWII, the Renown survived the war, and was scrapped in 1948.
Pit-Road's kit of the HMS Renown is a joint production with Trumpeter. This highly detailed model depicts the Renown in its final 1945 configuration. Can be built as either a full-hull or waterline model, with a stand to display to the full-hull version. Includes two Supermarine Walrus Mk. I scout aircraft, molded in clear plastic.
