This item is an injection-plastic ship model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.
The French battleship Richelieu was planned as a larger, modern version of the Dunkerque-class battleships. The ship was not even completed when France surrendered to Germany in 1940, but she later joined the Allied forces and was finally completed in New York in 1943. After serving with the Allies in the Atlantic and Pacific, she was present in Tokyo Bay for the signing of the Japanese Instrument of Surrender on September 2, 1945. She served until 1958, and was finally scrapped in 1968.
This release of the Pit-Road kit includes a fret of photo-etched metal parts to enhance the already excellent level of realism.
