1/144 F-35A Lighting II w/Nationality Decal

Pit-Road advertises this kit as "the first tooling of a model of the F-35," and indeed it seems to be faithful to the F-35A prototype currently flying. Previous kits have always been of the X-35 experimental demonstrator. While tiny, this model gives us optional parts for open and closed weapons bays plus extended or retracted landing gear. Decals are provided for Prototype 1 plus Japanese national markings for a hypothetical JASDF version, as well as national insignia for England, Italy, Holland, Turkey, Canada, Australia, Denmark and Norway.
