Here's a note from Gold Medal Models: "This set contains parts for one quarter of a complete air wing as carried by modern US Navy supercarriers. Four of these sets are required to equip a full carrier air wing. Some parts will be left over when the job is complete. Parts for early and late aircraft types are included. Not all types were carried at the same time by any US Navy carrier. "
