1/144 USN Air Cushion LCAC w/Resin Skirt

Able to cruise over land or water at speeds up to 40 knots and carrying up to 60 tons of payload, the Japanese version of the US-built LCAC (Landing Craft, Air Cushioned) greatly expands the capabilities of the US Navy.

Pit-Road's LCAC kit features fine molding and exquisite detailing throughout, with photo-etched metal parts included to enhance the detail even further. The air cushion is rendered in soft black vinyl. Includes a big sheet of decals and a full-color decal placement and painting guide (all text is in Japanese). A joint project with Trumpeter.

This release features resin parts to show the LCAC in a "parked" position with the skirt deflated, so you can build the front gate down in "deployment" position (the original inflated rubber skirt is also included). And to assist with that, Pit-Road has even included a pre-built and prepainted 1/144-scale M1A1 Abrams tank! Nice! Also includes photo-etched metal detail parts. An excellent kit of an interesting subject!
