Akula class (Russian name is Type 971) is the Russian most modern large nuclear powered attacik submarine. Like as its counte part, US Improved Los Angels & Seawolf class subs, it only emit very limited noise. The stealth nature in the acoustic field ensures its combat ability and survivability at the same time. Kit is made of resin. A simple base, not the wooden one on box picture, is included.
