This is the only 1/48 Nick available, and while not a new kit, it still holds up very well. While the detail may not be "state-of-the-art", it is entirely acceptable even for an out-of-the box build, and superdetailers can have a field day! Panel lines and rivets are fine and recessed. When you think about it, 1500 yen for a decently-detailed, large twin-engined fighter in 1/48 is actually a pretty good deal. Besides, where else are you going to get a 1/48 Nick?
