The Toyota Sport 800 (often referred to by collectors as the "Yota Hachi") was released in 1965 as an inexpensive sports car built for zipping around the many winding mountain roads of Japan, although its two-cylinder 800cc engine restricted its top speed to around 94 mph (151kph).
Nichimo's "Vintage Club" kit of the Yota Hachi comes molded in blue, black, chrome, and clear styrene, with black vinyl tires. Steering is positionable. A "curbside" kit, with no engine detail other than that molded on the bottom of the chassis.
