Otherwise known as the Semiorka R7 ICBM, the NATO-codenamed Sapwood was the world's first intercontinental ballistic missile, but found its true calling as a family of launch vehicles for the Soviet and later Russian space programs, from the Sputnik and Luna programs on to Vostok, Voshkod, and Soyuz.
Mach 2's kit of the SS6 Sapwood ICBM is molded in white styrene, and in 1/72 scale builds into a very impressive model. This is a limited run injection kit, so be prepared to do a bit of parts cleanup before assembly.
