1/48 Douglas TBD-1 Devastator VT-8 at Midway 1942

Great all-new kit of the Devastor, from Great Wall Hobby! The kit features two types of torpedoes and options for a one-piece fully closed canopy or one molded in multiple pieces, allowing the modeler to pose it open. The model depicts the Devastator as it appeared during the Battle of Midway in 1942.   Includes decals for two aircraft, photoetched parts, masking seals, optional folded wing (with metal support parts) and exquisite surface detail.  There have been comments to the effect that the rivets are tooo few and far between, however they are all there!  It is just that the majority of them are so fine as to not show up in photos.
