Lets start off with the liner notes "A U.C Centennial Memorial publication, this book is an encyclopedia of Gundam data covering the years from the One-Year war to Delaz Battles. The first ever Gundam encyclopedia that has ever been complied to review 20 years of Gundam."
Now for the details. This is quite simply one of the most impressive books I have seen on any subject. There are actually 2 pages just on how to use it. Every character, mecha, situation, historical fact, system, weapon, trivial fact you could ever want to know about the Gundam Universe is in these pages. Every entry is cross-referenced. Literally hundreds of black-and-white line drawings and illustrations. For example the entry on the MSN-02 shows the correct arrangement of thruster nozzles in the feet. Another article shows how the hands interface with the weapons systems to control them.
The final section is a set of appendices covering the UC chronology, One-Year War chronology, Delaz Battles Chronology, armor and Mobile Suit specifications, and development diagrams for both the Zeon and Earth Federation Forces.
Hard cover with slip case and separate indices. All text in Japanese. 890 pages.
