This item is a soft-vinyl (PVC) kit with pre-painted parts, portraying an item from science-fiction/anime. It does not require either cement or paint to complete or use.
This set from Kotobukiya is one of the finest replicas of Threepio and Artoo I've ever seen! These 1/7 scale pre-built (you just have to snap a few parts together) and pre-painted (or pre-plated, as the case may be) figures represent our favorite droids as they appeared all gussied up and polished for the big victory celebration and awarding of medals at the end of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Artoo's "head" revolves and Threepio's neck is articulated to allow for various posing. The level and accuracy of detail is beyond reproach, right down to Threepio's silver lower right leg and foot and the stone steps of Yavin IV where the ceremony was held. Simply put, there has never been a finer replica of Threepio and Artoo! An excellent tribute to two iconic characters from one of the greatest movies of all time (can you tell I'm a bit of a Stars Wars fan?)!
