1/35 DUKW w/105mm Howitzer

The successful use of DUKW amphibious truck gave US Army Artillery an idea mounting their 105mm howitzer and crew on it. This instant amphibious self propelled gun was expected to provide strong fire suppport for the assault landing parties on the beach. But in many cases, unless the wave is calm on the approach, it could not fight, or even live, as what it should have been to be. Kit also is a combination of the popular DUKW kit(ITA6392) and their old M2 105mm Howitzer(ITA319) as actual vehicle. Moldings of 105mm howitzer is very fine though it has its origin in late 1970's. Three artillery figures are set in the same sprue but their molding are bad example of early Itareli standard. The additional parts for the wheel well covers is introduced. Decal set with colourful characters like "Pistol Packin' Mama" are contained.
