1/35 M1A2 Abrams

The M1A2 is the most modern version of the US M1Abrams MBT, which was deployed with the 4th. Armored Division in Iraq in 2003 (after the battle). Its C3I ability is greatly enhanced compared to the previous models, with sophisticated computers and electro-optics. Italeri's M1A2 is made of all new tooling, not like the recently-released tank kits based on the ESCI. Mouldings are fine. Engine compartment hatches are separated but the engine itself is not included. Accessories like ammo cans, spare road wheels and combat simulator devices are included. A transparent plastic sheet for periscope glasses is provided, too. No figure included. Tracks are injection plastic track link type.
