A very nice kit of the Fiat CR.42, with very nice surface detail, detailed cockpit and engine, optional spatted and unspatted landing gear with flattened and bulged tires, and optional underwing bombs and racks. The only thing that sticks out in looking at the sprues is that the propeller appears to be molded backwards -- the flat sides of the blades are to the front, while the back side is convex. An easy-enough fix: simply slice off the prop shaft, drill a hole for a new rod or pipe shaft, and install the shaft and spinner. Decals are for four aircraft: 387-9 of 387 Squadriglia, 158 Gruppo, 50 Stormo d'Assalto, Libya 1942; 45 of Scuola Caccia Assalto, Ravenna 1942; 20-7 of 20 Squadriglia, 46 Gruppo, 15 Stormo d'Assalto, El Adem 1942; and 15o of 15 Stormo d'Assalto, Barce 1942.
