1/72 X/YB-35 "Flying Wing"

Reissue by Italeri of the AMT 1/72-scale X/YB-35 kit with parts and decals to build either version of the "Flying Wing." Includes walkway decals and photograph-style instructions. Plus, Italeri has packed the kit into a much smaller, more "closet shelf friendly" box. A nice kit, but experienced builders have all reached the same conclusion: don't follow the instructions! Glue the three top-half pieces together on a tabletop to give one large wingtip-to-wingtip upper half, repeat for the three sections of the lower half, then glue the completed upper and lower halves together while sandwiching the interior in between.
