This all-new tooling from Italeri is of the SM.82 Marsupiale, a heavy bomber (although it was more generally used as a transport) developed by Italy in the early years of WWII. Never produced in large numbers, it was underpowered and slow but could carry an impressive load. Italeri's kit features very complete internal and bomb bay detail, an optional-position bomb-aimer's gondola between the fuselage engine and the bomb bay, and markings for three Regia Aeronautica aircraft. Panel lines are recessed. This release also includes a reference book, full of technical details and walkaround photos. A very good idea, as I don't think books on the Marsupiale are thick on the ground!
