Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 36.6cm long when completed.

A highly-detailed kit of an important post-war transport aircraft, the C-119. This version is for the R-4360 "Corncob"-powered C model, with single nose gear, however R-3350 engines and the twin nosewheel strut for later versions is also included on the sprues. Also, a very nice Dodge WC51 light truck is included for diorama use. Panel lines are raised, but not overdone and should look just fine. Decals are for four aircraft, one each from the USAF's 63rd and 64th TCS in the early 1950s, and 2 French Armee de l'Air aircraft from Vietnam. Both the French aircraft are ex-USAF machines, one each from... the 63rd and 64th TCS! Nice way to provide lots of options while keeping the decal printing down. Three aircraft have prominent nose art. But wait, there's more: this release also includes a very nice booklet chock full of detail drawings and walkaround-style photos. Perfect for those wanting to superdetail their kit.
