An all-new tooling of the Hikawa-Maru, originally launched in 1929 as an ocean liner, then pressed into service as a hospital ship during WWII. After the war, the ship was used for troop repatriation, and later as a cargo and passenger ship between Japan and the US. The ship is now permanently berthed in Yokohama, preserved as a floating museum.
This all-new tooling of the Hikawa-Maru builds into a stunningly detailed full-hull model, representing the ship as it appeared before WWII. Includes a display stand.
