Hasegawa's magnificent model of the US Navy escort carrier USS Gambier Bay depicts the ship as it appeared during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October of 1944. Includes three Avengers and six Wildcats, all with positionable folding wings. Also includes a 13-page pamphlet all about the ship, with b&w photos and text in both Japanese and English. The 19-page instruction manual also features both Japanese and English, and includes a page of cut-out masks you can use to help paint the striking camouflage pattern the Gambier Bay wore. Model will measure 47.7cm long when completed. Classy display stands included.
