The first great kit of 2009! Hasegawa created quite a stir when they announced plans to release a true 1/48 Pete, and the kit lives up to all expectations. Surface detail is stunning, with fine panel lines and delicate rivets. Cockpit and engine detail is similarly magnificent. All lights are provided as clear parts, and a beaching dolly is of course included. Decals are for "Y1-23" and "L-2-11," both used in the Solomons mid-war, and "Sa 951-8" of the 951st Naval Flying Group at Sasebo in the summer of 1945.
