1/72 Heinkel He111H-6

Put away those old Italian-made kits! Here's an all-new-tool kit of one of the most recognizable German bombers of the Second World War. Originally introduced as a high-speed transport, the H model introduced a large glazed nose compartment for the pilot and bombardier. This kit features engraved panel lines (of course!) and an impressive level of detail. Starting with the fully decked-out cockpit, we move back through a complete bomb-bay into an aft fuselage compartment with full ribbing detail inside and a detailed dorsal gunner's position. Bomb-bay doors can be posed open. Lots of extra parts along with the breakdown of the sprues tell us other versions will be coming, and indeed some possibilities, like replacing the nose-mounted 20mm with a 7.92 machine gun, can be done out-of-the-box. Underwing bomb racks are included, as well as two SC 1000 bombs, and two styles of exhaust are included. Markings are for three airplanes: 1G+KN of 5./KG27, 1G+HP of 6./JG 27, and 6N+CM of 4./KG100. Luftwaffe and twin-engine bomber fans, start celebrating!
