Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 184 parts. 27.3cm long when completed.

A re-release of Hasegawa's Betty with Ohka twin model. The Betty is well detailed inside and out with recessed panel lines, complete defensive armament, weighted tires and nicely represented engines. The Ohka is fairly simple, but so was the real thing! It too has recessed panel lines, a basic cockpit (again, like the real item) and can be mounted on a trapeze in the Betty's bomb bay or on a separate transport dolly (included). Markings for four Bettys from the 721st Naval Flying Group are included, one green over gray that probably did not see use in combat, one green over black and two all-green aircraft. The last three were all based in Kagoshima, the southernmost part of the main Japanese islands, and probably did see combat (and were most likely lost in combat as well). Markings are included for 3 Ohka, however none of the 3 were actually used by the 721st according to the instructions. Since photos of actual Ohka are fairly rare, one could safely fake the numbers and no one could prove them wrong!
