This item is a set of photo-etched metal detailing parts for use with ship models. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.
Now here's something you don't see every day: a set of photoetched emergency rudders! Late in WWII, the IJN fitted these as emergency backups on their capital ships. In the event the main rudder was damaged, these could be used to maintain steering control of the ship until it could return to base for proper repairs.
