Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/48 scale A6M5c kit with decals to mark it as any of three "ace's mounts": Yo-137 and Yo-138 of Lt.JG Saburo Sakai when he flew from Yokosuka in 1945 and 252-114 of Ensign Tetsuo Iwamoto as flown out of Mohara AB in 1945. Saburo Sakai's planes are both Mitsubishi Zeros, Yo-137 has the white rings around the Hinomaru while Yo-138 does not, but may have had a white stripe across the rudder. Iwamoto's aircraft is a Nakajima Zero, and had the white rings around the Hinomaru painted out with dark green. This is represented on the decals. See box photo or art for marking details.
