Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Hien (pronounced "hee-ehn") was the only Japanese fighter with a liquid-cooled engine to see service. It was a license-built German DB601, but maintenance problem severely limited the plane's effectiveness, though it was a fine fighter when it could get into the air.
Hasegawa's kit features their usual attention to detail with fine panels lines and excellent cockpit. Markings included for two aircraft from the 18th Flight Training Unit. See box art.
