1/72 P-39Q Aira Cobra

Hobby Boss continues their "easy assembly" series with this P-39Q. Kits in this line are molded in the minimum number of parts needed to produce an acceptably accurate 1/72-scale model. The fuselage is molded as one piece, with the entire wing as a second piece, to which are added the prop, landing gear, and other small parts. The kits certainly look like the aircraft they are supposed to represent, and seem (in the box) to be pretty accurate in outline. In terms of overall detail level, we would put them somewhere above the older Hasegawa kits. This kit has 35 parts, with decals for William Shomo's "Snooks 2nd" as well as Capt. Grigor A. Rechkalov's aircraft of the Soviet GIAP.
