1/72 M26 Pershing Germany 1945

This is a very nicely detailed, fully assembled and fully finished die-cast metal model of the US M26 Pershing tank, representing the #10 vehicle as used by Tank Company E, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, in Germany in April 1945. Tracks represent the early-style T81 single-pin metal type, most often seen on WWII Pershings but occasionally seen on post-WWII vehicles. Interestingly, the spare track links on the turret represent the later double-pin type...not an impossible combination, as tank crews would routinely slap just about anything onto their vehicles! The model comes mounted on a black plastic base with nameplate, with a clear plastic case to help keep it free of dust and fingerprints.
