Takuji Yamada is one of the most well-known modelers in Japan, having appeared as a contestant (and winning every time!) and a judge on the popular TV show "TV Champion," where craftspeople of all arts compete against each other. Takuji is well-versed in all modeling genres, but this book focuses on his character-driven dioramas showing the "good ol' days" of Japan's Showa Period. Amazing stuff! Mostly color; all text is in Japanese (diorama titles are translated into English). Softcover with dust jacket.
