1/700 IJN Destroyer Akizuki (2-ship Set) by Fujimi

Product Description
This item is an injection-plastic ship model kit.  Click here for sizing chart.
Often misidentified as cruisers, the Akizuki ("Autumn Moon") class was the largest and arguably most successful class of destroyers in the IJN fleet, trading torpedo firepower for much-needed AA firepower in a hull 50 feet longer and 700 tons heavier than its closest rivals. The Akizuki was sunk by the US submarine Halibut at the Battle of Cape Engano on October 25, 1944. Fujimi's set of two Akizuki-class destroyers is sharply molded in dark gray plastic. Builds into waterline models. Decals provided for the Akizuki and the Teruzuki. Add this great set of IJN destroyers to your 1/700 IJN waterline collection today!
