Fine Molds' 1/48 X-Wing is far more than just a bigger version of its 1/72 cousin (which still holds the crown as the best-selling model kit we've ever handled!). Fine Molds has upped their game, and this fantastic kit features swift and easy snap-together assembly! But don't misinterpret that feature to mean this is a simplified kiddie kit, as there is no compromise on the detail whatsoever; it is still a perfect X-Wing model, based on all the same careful research that Fine Molds did on Lucas' special effects miniatures for the 1/72 offering.

Self-tapping screws insure a solid fit and smooth operation of the movable S-Foils (a Phillips Head screwdriver is needed for assembly, not included). Coupling that with self-adhesive stickers as well as waterslide decals for the markings means the best of both worlds: The kit makes a perfect gift for kids or people who haven't done much modeling, but still offers more experienced modelers the kind of perfection they demand.
