While Fine Molds has offered stunning ship detail sets for a while now, we're finally getting a full kit! The first subject is the WWII IJN "Special Destroyer" Ayanami, so named due to its particularly robust armament, closer to a cruiser than a destroyer. Featuring the fantastic levels of detail we've come to expect from Fine Molds, the kit can be built as either a waterline or full hull model. We've seen the kit parts ourselves, and can attest to the fact that some details are so fine they're hard to see with the naked eye! Naval modelers around the world should be very excited that Fine Molds has decided to launch its own line of ships!
