1/72 Kyushu Q1W1 Tokai (Lorna) Type 11 by Fine Molds

Product Description
This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. 18cm long when completed. Click here for sizing chart.
Following their Me410, Fine Molds gets back to their roots with another obscure Japanese plane, the Tokai, known by the Allied code name "Lorna." This was a twin-engined anti-submarine aircraft which looks rather Ju88-like. Saw some service late in the war, but its effectiveness was limited by its slow speed and poor defense.

Suzuki-san, the president of Fine Molds, says this kit is the "most accurate and detailed kit we've ever produced." It looks pretty darn good in the box, with nice panel line and rivet detail in all the right places. Kit includes MAD antennas, bombs, depth charges and two versions of the cockpit glazing (open and closed windows). Note the cockpit MG seen below is not included in the kit. Injection plastic kit. About 18cm long when completed.
