1/35 IJA Type 5 Medium Tank Chi-Ri

Another fantastic IJA armor release from Fine Molds! This time it is the legendary "Japanese Tiger," the Type 5 Medium Tank Chi-Ri. Although only one prototype was built and the type never saw combat, the Type 5 earned its nickname with its thick armor, huge size, and powerful 75mm main armament.

This great kit from Fine Molds features all the fine detail and clean molding modelers have come to expect. The tracks are provided as two-piece per link individual links that are workable upon completion. Both the main 75mm and hull-mounted 37mm guns are detailed right down to the breeches (metal barrels sold separately; linked below). An excellent kit of a fascinating subject!
