Based on the Type 97 Chi-Ha tank chassis and a further development of the Type 1 Chi-He medium tank, the Type 2 Ho-I was designed as a close fire support self-propelled gun, mounting a Type 99 75mm short-barreled gun in a fully rotating two-man turret.
Fine Molds continues their tradition of releasing excellent kits of esoteric Japanese armored vehicles. Here they've taken their extraordinary Chi-He kit and added new turret and gun parts to create this excellent kit of the Ho-I SPG. Includes a tank commander figure and markings for four versions.
