Fine Molds is up to their usual antics, releasing an amazingly well-researched and tooled rendition of a very minor piece of hardware. Here's the Imperial Japanese Army's Type 3 for the first time ever in injection plastic. This is the only Japanese armor anywhere near the size of standard Allied AFVs to see action during the conflict. A few dozen were in service by the end of the war. The kit itself is quite remarkable, with surface detail that's up to the standards of market leader Tamiya. Track links are of the continuous belt type. Muffler grates are included as plastic parts, but a separate photo-etched accessory set provides a more true-to-scale alternative for detail nuts. Highly recommended.
