Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.

FineMolds releases its first Gustav! But not another G-6 or G-14, heck everybody has already done that - a G-2! Also, unlike some previous Messerschmitt kits where the builder was called upon to fill various panel lines (a result of the "one size fits all" method of releasing a bunch of variants from one common mold), FineMolds has tooled all-new fuselage sprues specifically for the early G. While you will need to trim off two small bumps on the port fuselage half, the other details are accurate for a G-2. Like another maker's 1/48 kits, you will have to trim the wheel openings for the G's square-cornered openings, but this should be easy enough and we can't hold a grudge against FineMolds for keeping costs down and using the same wing for their F and G releases, now can we? Markings are for Feldwebel Anton Hafner's "White 5" of 6./JG51, and as in their F-2 and F-4 releases, FineMolds has provided a large decal sheet which supplies all the camoflage. Simply paint the completed model RLM76, the canopy frame RLM75 and the lower nose RLM04 (you may wish to paint the wingtips and fuselage band as well for consistency), apply a gloss coat and decal! No complicated masking or fighting with your airbrush to mottle the sides, it is all done for you.
