Fine Molds' Japanese pride is unleashed on this gorgeous kit of the plane that would have succeeded the Zero if they'd had a chance to build it (which was prevented by numerous engine development delays, a huge earthquake, and of course, Allied bombs). This version lets you build the aircraft after final modifications to the prototypes were carried out -- a theoretical operational version of the plane, if you will. Superb detail throughout. Highly recommended.
