Fine Molds Oscar was the company's first-ever injection-plastic 1/48 aircraft kit, but you would never guess that from the quality of this tooling, which features relatively few parts for easy assembly, but definitely does not skimp on the detail! It's remarkable that no other firm has produced a 1/48 kit of this very important IJA aircraft.

This version of the Oscar kit includes new parts for the Model 3's exhaust pipes, canopy with methanol fill port and new-type underwing external tank racks. Comes with extensive historical background information on the plane as well, but this is, unfortunately, all in Japanese.
